Quality HomeCare is a privately owned Domiciliary home care company based in Formby, Merseyside and our geographical area covers Formby, Southport and the surrounding districts. Established in 2017 by two sisters Lindsay and Nicola the company was born out of a personal understanding, experience and commitment to providing high quality home care to people in the comfort of their own homes. We are proud of our compassionate home care programs which are designed to help people stay at home and live healthier longer.

Our Proud History

Quality HomeCare NorthWest was launched in February 2018, but the roots of the company go back as far as 1999 when Nicola Montgomery, the Registered Care Manager worked as a community domiciliary care worker. The passion Nicola had for supporting individuals to be able to live in the comfort of their own homes as independently as possible gave her the foundation for an effective career in Health & Social care supporting thousands of individuals in her role as a Social Worker in Southport & Ormskirk district hospital. Nicola is extremely experienced  and qualified having gained an MA in Social Work, a BA in Social Sciences, majoring in Community and Disability Studies, also a Diploma in Social Work and a level 2 Certificate in Counselling concepts.

Quality HomeCare CEO Lindsay Britton, not only with her experience of managing domiciliary care agencies but with her passion In HR and the training and development of workforces, alongside Nicola, the two girls decided to launch Quality HomeCare NorthWest Limited, implementing their desire to improve standards and access for people who required a high quality domiciliary care in the Formby, Freshfield and surrounding areas. Their ongoing commitment to providing the best support and continuity of care is the ethos the company has been built on and the skilled support and training given to all team members promotes a professional, friendly and trustworthy workforce. All Quality HomeCare employees are CRB checked and trained to the highest levels.

Our Mission and Vision

Quality HomeCare is committed to providing high-quality home care services to individual Service Users and their families, as well as to other healthcare organisations in need of supplemental staffing (such as certified home health and hospice agencies, health plans, hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities).

Our priority is to provide state-of-the-art and compassionate in-home care from highly-trained carers. To make good on this promise, proper training is paramount. Not only do we hire the most experienced personnel, but we also provide all employee’s with in depth training towards their Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Health & Social Care. so that they can deliver specialised care to our Service Users.

At Quality HomeCare, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy, active and fulfilling life. This ethos is at the heart of everything we do.

We provide everyone we support with the opportunity to continue to live life to the full. We actively encourage Service Users to become more self-reliant, to make decisions for themselves, and ultimately, to move on to more independent living arrangements.

We facilitate and support our Service Users to pursue meaningful and personalised lifestyles. We provide individually planned education & leisure opportunities to support each individual in their ongoing development.

Linzi is the co-founder and co-owner of Quality HomeCare. She managers the every day life of the office, maintains all documentation/policies and implements all company strategies to ensure that we deliver the very best home care required.  She is a manual handling trainer and overlooks all training provided to all employees.

Allan is the co-owner of Quality HomeCare with Linzi. He has over 18 years of financial and business management experience with current and previous businesses he’s owned. He is currently responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department which incorporates the Payroll, Billing and Collection departments.

Nicola is the co-founder of Quality HomeCare with Linzi. She is the Registered Care Manager and ensures that everything we do is in line with what is expected by The Care Quality Commission. All care plans are assessed and approved by Nicola to ensure we provide the very best care in a dignified and safe manner which meet all our Service Users requirements.
